SIMEOX from PHYSIO-ASSIST

SIMEOX is a medical device intended to be used by Adults and Pediatric Patients (Above 8 years) suffering from a lung Disease having difficulty in clearing bronchial secretions. The SIMEOX is a Patient controlled and triggered device, by providing Oscillatory vibrations during exhalation phase through the mouthpiece that disseminate in the bronchial tree intermittent negative pressure pulses which help in liquefying, mobilizing and transporting secretions from small bronchi (Distal Airways) to Large bronchi (proximal airways) and then upper airways, thereby allowing patients to expectorate or drain mucus fatigue free. SIMEOX Therapy is suitable for patients suffering from Cystic Fibrosis, COPD, Asthma, Bronchiectasis, Primary Ciliary Dyskinesia, etc having excessive secretions.

Simeox is intended to be used in Healthcare Facilities, in Medical or paramedical Clinics or at home. In Healthcare Facilities, Healthcare professionals (Chest Physicians, Intensivists, Pulmonologists, Respiratory Therapists and Physiotherapists) are consulted beforehand to assure and train patients on the use of SIMEOX devices and assess contraindications in patients.
